Plan, assess, and recommend policies and procedures concerning acquisitions practices at the SUS libraries, which may include: functionality improvements in the Aleph Acquisitions/Serials module and development of related reports with FCLA, and cooperative business relationships regarding vendors, core collection issues, etc.; Coordinate with the CPC and other groups on collection development and other issues of mutual interest; Advise the TSPC regarding trends in acquisitions. (NB: the term “acquisitions” is meant to comprehend acquisitions activities relating to all materials formats, such as books and monographic materials, serials, electronic resources, etc.)
